What to do if GT is becomes slow and unresponsive?

Sometimes too many worker processes are created that do not terminate.

To check this, open the Monitor tool from the GT Home menu, and go to the Future workers tab. If you see a row with a large number of workers, you can try to kill them by double-clicking the row, and then selecting the x button to cancel the pending tasks.
