Facilitator

The facilitator is a technical role.

The facilitator knows how to link questions to the system, and to map these questions onto tools that provide answers directly from the system.

The facilitator supports the stakeholders. The facilitator never controls the stakeholders. It is explicitly distinct from a quality assurrance role.

The facilitator is a role, not a job description. Any technical person can fulfill it.

The facilitator's skills are crosscutting and can be shared across different business or technical contexts.
